The 2009 Chevy Express is backed by the best coverage in America: the Chevy 100,000 mile/5-year(1) Transferable Powertrain Limited Warranty, plus Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation Programs. All Chevy vehicles registered in the U.S.A. come with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty and are covered for 3 years/36,000 miles.(1) The complete vehicle is covered, including tires, towing to your nearest Chevrolet dealership and cosmetic corrosion resulting from defects. Repairs will be made to correct any vehicle defect, and most warranty repairs will be made at no charge. Cargo Van offers an unmatched selection of engines.(1) The Vortec 4.3L V6 engine (standard on 1500 Cargo Van) offers a wide array of benefits:
• 195 horsepower at 4600 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 2800 rpm • Cast-iron cylinder heads • Valve train that features roller rocker arms and hydraulic roller lifters • Internal balancing that reduces stress on the high-capacity crankshaft • Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with more than one MB of memory and 24 MHz processing speed • The ability to travel up to 100,000 miles before the first scheduled spark plug replacement, thanks to iridium-tip spark plugs(2) • The Vortec 4.3L can also go up to five years or 150,000 miles (whichever comes first) before its first scheduled coolant change(2)1 Based on 2008 GM Large Van segment and latest available competitive information.
