PLAY BY YOUR RULES. Some lead, some follow. Corvette has followed its own formula as an American original since 1953. Corvette coupe, convertible and Z06 have steadily grown in stature amid the world hierarchy of great, quality automobiles. As Corvette godfather Zora Arkus-Duntov once said, “All Corvettes are performance cars — the difference is in degree.” Since the dawn of the sixth generation, we have seen the coupe, convertible and, later, the Z06 that was codeveloped with a Le Mans-winning racer. Now, Corvette's bandwidth expands even further with the return of the Corvette ZR1.1 Its supercharged LS9 V8 develops 638 hp and 604 lb.-ft. of torque, contributing to a test-track top speed of 205 mph — a stunning new performance benchmark for a GM production car. All 2009 Corvette models are backed by the best coverage in America: a 100,000 mile/5-year2 transferable Powertrain Limited Warranty plus Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation Programs.

Always use safety belts and the correct restraint for your child's age and size. Even in vehicles equipped with the Passenger Sensing System, children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in the appropriate infant, child or booster seat. Never place a rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat of any vehicle equipped with a passenger air bag. See the Owner's Manual and child safety seat instructions for more safety information.
